What the shop does for you

The best optical performance ever achieved in the Sigma 35mm F1.4 Art range
Exceptional resolution across the entire image from maximum aperture
Building on Sigma's latest optical technology, the completely redesigned construction of 15 elements in 12 groups delivers extremely detailed rendering that surpasses previous generations of 35mm F1.4 Art lenses. By incorporating new glass materials that were previously difficult to process, together with four high-precision aspherical elements and two SLD glass elements, the lens thoroughly eliminates aberrations, particularly axial chromatic aberration, which is often significant in large-aperture lenses.
Sigma's rigorous standards for the Art line ensure exceptional resolution across the entire image, even at maximum aperture.
Rich, magnificent bokeh without colour bleeding
By meticulously correcting axial chromatic aberration, the lens eliminates coloured fringing not only in the plane of focus but also in blurred areas, producing magnificently natural bokeh. The lens features an 11-blade circular diaphragm, which maintains its round shape even when the aperture is stopped down. Furthermore, thanks to optimal surface precision of the aspherical elements, the lens achieves smooth, beautifully round bokeh.
New AAC (Advanced Amorphous Coating) treatment
The new AAC (Advanced Amorphous Coating) treatment includes a low-refractive-index amorphous layer that considerably reduces the reflections responsible for ghosting and flare, delivering exceptionally clear, high-contrast image quality.
Refined, compact and lightweight design
Uncompromising compactness and lightness
Thanks to the adoption of a floating focus system, the lens offers both improved optical performance and a more compact, lighter design. Compared with the previous model, the Sigma 35mm F1.4 DG DN | Art, it is approximately 14% shorter and 20% lighter. The mechanical design incorporates numerous innovations that save space down to the smallest details, ensuring uncompromising compactness and handling. This agility allows photographers to give free rein to their creativity.
Fast, silent autofocus with dual HLA system
The lens uses Sigma's dual HLA (High-response Linear Actuator) system, which drives the large, heavy focus group with high power and speed. Even in a large-aperture lens where the focus group tends to become heavier, it provides fast, precise and silent autofocus for both photo and video, ensuring that users can capture decisive moments reliably.
Designed for comfortable shooting in both photo and video
A reliable and durable tool for photographic expression
Thanks to the assembly of high-precision aluminium, TSC1 and other materials, the lens achieves the high level of rigidity, durability and build quality expected of the Art line, without compromising handling. As a photographic tool, it offers the reliability required for long-term use.
