This lens uses two SLD (Special Low Dispersion) glass elements and two FLD (“F” Low Dispersion) elements. These technologies limit the chromatic aberrations that can appear in the bokeh zone of a portrait or on fine subjects such as branches. The result is an image with very high resolution and clarity across the entire frame, even at full aperture.
